Skies over Denver will be Sunny Thursday and the high temperature should climb to about 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The record high temperature for Denver is 93 degrees, set in 1895. The normal high for the date is 78 degrees.
Sunny, hot weather should hold on Friday in Denver as well, before seasonal weather settles in on Saturday.
The high temperature on Friday in Denver is expected to top out at 87 degrees, the weather service said.
The overnight low temperature in Denver Thursday should drop to about 60 degrees with the overnight low dipping down to 56 degrees on Friday.
There’s a 10 percent chance of evening showers or thunderstorms in Denver on Friday, with a 20 percent chance on Saturday.
On Saturday in Denver, skies will be mostly sunny and the high temperature should be a seasonal 77 degrees.
Sunday could be a bit stormy in Denver, with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, the weather service reports, as the high temperature tops out at 74 degrees.
