
The organizer of a soccer league who was arrested last month on suspicion of child enticement and sexual assault on a child, now faces further charges in a second case.
Andres Fuerte Gaspar, 50, was charged Thursday by the Denver District Attorney with kidnapping, two counts of child enticement, two counts of sexual assault on a child and two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
The charges in the most recent case allege that Gaspar met a 13-year-old victim through his soccer league and after hiring him to help clean soccer fields, took the victim to his apartment where the assaults are alleged to have occurred.
Gaspar is alleged to use similar tactics in , which reported occurred on Aug. 17. Gaspar met the victim at a soccer practice and also offered him a job cleaning soccer fields. He then took that victim to his apartment as well.
A District Attorney spokeswoman said the second victim may have come forward because of the publicity surrounding the first case.
Gaspar is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 22.
