Getting your player ready...

The NFL is a symbol of American decline, and it has nothing to do with domestic violence. The definition of a professional football game is 75,000 people who need to exercise watching 22 who don’t.

Americans have become so dumbed down that we are willing to pay in excess of $20 million a year to a football player who makes decisions that will not affect anyone, yet we are only willing to pay $400,000 to our president who makes decisions that affect not only us, but our children and grandchildren. We pay close to minimum wage to a person in a helmet protecting our country but pay millions of dollars to a person in a helmet protecting a football.

The Roman Empire dissolved primarily from two reasons: failure to secure their borders and an insatiable desire to be entertained. Apparently we didn’t learn anything from the Romans or we don’t care that we didn’t.
