Police in Aurora announced Thursday that they arrested a man in connection on Tuesday night.
The man, whose name was not released, , who was found about 4:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Lima Street.
First responders found the accused man — unconscious and suffering from an apparent drug overdose — in the house where Griego’s body was located, according to police.
The man was arrested after being treated at a hospital, police said.
“This is still an open and active investigation,” said Sgt. Chris Amsler. “Detectives are still interviewing witnesses. Once that has been completed, we will release the name and mugshot of the suspect.”
