Telemundo is adding an early evening newscast across stations in 14 markets including Denver. Locally, the new program will air 4:30-5:30 on KDEN beginning Nov. 3. currently operates out of the KUSA building.

Guillermo Martínez Villarreal, who already anchors at 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., will add duties on the new show as well. Station manager Andres Chaparro expects to add personnel before the launch.

The station will continue to work in partnership with NBC Universal corporate cousin KUSA in Denver.
