All lanes of southbound Interstate 225 will be closed Friday, Sept. 19 at 11 p.m. between Iliff Avenue and Parker Road while crews install overhead sign bridges, the Colorado Department of Transportation said in a news release.
The road is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20.
Motorists will be detoured onto Iliff Avenue, then west to Peoria Street and south to Parker Road before being allowed back on to southbound I-225.
CDOT anticipates delays and advises drivers to avoid the area.
