Tom Overton, former president of the Rocky Mountain Map Society, hosts a program on pirate maps beginning at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 23. “Yo-Ho-Ho and a Rhumb Line!” will spotlight period maps showing where pirates were operating. Overton will also bring some authentic pirate treasures. The program is free. The map society, a nonprofit formed in 1991, will have maps to give away to guests including atlases, National Geographic maps and road maps.
