Isn’t it time to stop using the mythological term “nonpartisan”? Its use is either notional or flat dishonest. Rocks are nonpartisan. People are inherently partisan. A committee of humans can be either partisan or bipartisan. It matters not what a committee does — a committee of people to manage the NFL’s social issues or a committee of people to oversee construction at Denver International Airport simply cannot be nonpartisan.
