BLACK FOREST — A woman has discovered more than a dozen dead and malnourished horses in Black Forest.
Diana Ragula called the sheriff’s office Friday to report her find in the 5400 block of Burgess Road.
Ragula told ABC affiliate KRDO TV that she was looking for her loose dogs when she found the horses in a barn near the house she is renting.
She found tarps covering about 12 dead horses in the barn. Some of the dead horses were nothing more than skeletons.
