The Denver district attorney formally charged on Monday a school security guard who is accused of sending sexual text messages to students, and attempting to lure at least one student into a sexual relationship.
Enrique Vega, 24, is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of attempted sexual assault on a child.
According to the DA’s office, in August and September, Vega, who worked at Denver South High School, was exchanging and had in his possession sexually exploitative material, and engaged in conduct that was a substantial step toward committing sexual assault on a child.
