Temperatures in Denver on Friday could creep up to — or break — a record high as they reach into the upper 80s.

Forecasters say temperatures could be as high as 87 with a low of 56 tonight. The record high is 90, last reached in 2010.

Skies are supposed to stay clear all day and into the weekend as high temperatures continue through Monday before a dip, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday’s heat follows a similarly unseasonably hot Thursday.
