
Loveland Police arrested a man on Friday accused of Internet sexual exploitation, luring and enticement of a child, officials said.
On Sept. 19, the Loveland Police Department was contacted by the Rockford Department of Public Safety in Rockford, Mich., to assist in an investigation, Loveland police said in a news release.
Rockford Department of Public Safety said a Loveland man allegedly formed a long-term, online relationship with a girl that resulted in an alleged sexual assault with the juvenile in a third jurisdiction, the release said.
Loveland investigators located and identified the suspect as 34-year-old Loveland resident Michael Bent. Later, investigators received an arrest and search warrant for Bent, which were served on Friday.
Loveland police arrested Bent and transported him to Larimer County Jail, where he is being held for Internet sexual exploitation of a child, Internet luring of a child and enticement of a child.
