Re: “Law violators get and keep jobs at Denver’s sheriff’s department,” Sept. 21 news story.
The front-page story regarding hiring criteria and examples of deputies on staff in the Denver jail was an eye opener.
Any counselor, psychologist or psychiatrist involved in domestic abuse issues can say a lot about the profiles of abusers and the patterns that lead to further abuse.
Denver, you have done it to yourself; now you are paying the price.
