Aurora and Denver police were searching for someone who detonated a homemade fireworks device at the Dayton light rail station.
A Denver police spokesman said after detonating the device, the suspect went from Aurora to Denver. If apprehended, the suspect would likely be charged by Aurora police.
Initial reports said there were no injuries from the explosion.
Shortly before 11 p.m., Denver police was notified of another suspicious device at the RTD Platte Operations Facility at 3333 Ringsby Court. According to a police spokesman, a witness described the object as resembling a flare with a watch or some sort of ticking device attached to it.
