The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is assisting in a hazing investigation at a high school in Colorado’s southeastern-most county.
Susan Medina, spokeswoman for the bureau, said they are assisting local authorities in investigating the allegations at Springfield High School in Baca County.
“Because it’s an active investigation, I can’t talk about the details of the investigation at that point,” Medina said.
The bureau was called in on Monday on the request of the chief of Springfield police and the county’s district attorney.
“In this case it was determined our assistance was needed,” Medina said.
Authorities in Baca County directed all media inquiries to the bureau.
