The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory, affecting communities along the Front Range, from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Friday.
The service says low temperatures in the Denver metro area will fall into the low 30s as a cold front moves into the northeast part of Colorado. It will be the coldest night of the season so far.
Sensitive plants could be damaged or killed if not covered or brought inside overnight, the service said.
