Hot off the heels of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS, Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U will be released Nov. 21.

The game will release alongside the first wave of Amiibo figures from Nintendo. The fourth (fifth including Smash Bros. for 3DS) installment in Smash Bros. series, this game contains , a step up from the 37 present in Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. The game includes newcomers from Fire Emblem, Punch-Out, Xenoblade and Animal Crossing among other titles.

Nintendo is releasing a for the Wii U along with special Smash Bros. edition Gamecube controllers so players can continue using the controller that has become the standard at Smash Bros. parties and tournaments.

Nintendo’s interactive Amiibo figures will release alongside Smash Bros. Each figure contains a microchip that allows it to link to the Wii U, creating an in-game version of the Amiibo figure that levels up through battles. The first wave will include Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth. In December, Nintendo will release a second wave of figures to include: Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon.
