Authorities in Arapahoe County are investigating a home invasion at an apartment complex overnight Tuesday.
A man broke into a home in the complex on the 9100 block of East Florida Avenue about 11:30 p.m., according to dispatchers.
Denver police assisted in the search for the suspect, contributing their helicopter to the response.
“The investigation is still ongoing at this point,” said Sgt. Todd Hechner of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. “We sure hope to find him.”
A man in black clothing and a mask tried to rob two people who were inside an apartment, . The man broke in through a patio door and the residents were able to flee unharmed, the station reported.
