A Douglas County sheriff’s deputy and Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials worked together to free a bear trapped in a car Monday.
The bear was stranded in a black sedan in Castle Pines, the sheriff’s office said.
A photo showed the car’s windshield broken with a curiosity-ridden black bear sitting in the front passenger seat.
“Bear unharmed, car was not!” the office said in a tweet.
