Authorities in Weld County are investigating the attempted robbery of a hotel early Sunday morning.
A man walked into the Quality Inn Hotel on the 10800 block of West I-25 Frontage Road in Del Camino about 3 a.m., brandished a black handgun and demanded cash.
“The clerk advised that the hotel didn’t have any and he fled the area on foot,” the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
