
Bicycle bonanza
“Wheelin’ and Dealin’ ” is the name of the game at the Subaru Denver Veloswap on Oct. 18, one of the biggest bike expos in the country offering new and used bicycles and accessories with more than 300 vendors. Cyclists are invited to buy, sell and recycle their gear. An “EcoVillage,” seminars, raffle prizes and live music are also included. New this year is a product showcase with company reps from Focus, Bianchi, Parleee and others. “The sale is huge, but the impact is bigger” says organizers of Jeffco Action Center’s Fall Beautiful Junk Sale. Collectibles, jewelry, antiques, household items and more take over the 10,500-square-foot exhibit hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 18.
