Ty Lawson started but did not finish practice on Sunday afternoon, spotlighting the Nuggets’ current injury situation heading into what will be a weeklong road trip with the team playing exhibition games in Chicago, Des Moines, and Las Vegas.

Lawson received treatment on a troublesome left ankle, which he originally injured late last season. The ankle injury ended his season, as he missed the final six games because of it. His status for Monday’s exhibition game at the Chicago Bulls is still to be determined.

Meanwhile, Kenneth Faried participated in a full practice Sunday after sitting out the Nuggets’ game Friday at Phoenix. He has been dealing with a sore ankle which he twisted on Oct. 8 in the team’s home game against Oklahoma City. He’s expected to be back in action against the Bulls.

Danilo Gallinari, the scoring hero for the Nuggets against the Suns, reported no next-day soreness after scoring 17 points in his first game in 19 months. While he said he feels good enough to play, his status has not been determined for the Bulls game.
