Authorities in Mesa County last week arrested a Clifton man accused of 64 counts of possession of child pornography.
Ronald Kolpin, 63, was arrested Friday at his home, the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
“Investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office obtained the case after Larimer County and Grand Junction Police Department officials traced the transfer of child pornography back to the same (Internet provider) address, which was assigned to the residence of Ronald,” the office said in a news release.
Officials say they don’t believe any of the images seized in the case are of children in Mesa County area.
Kolpin is being held without bond.
