Denver’s extended weather forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with high temperatures above seasonal norms, except in mid-week, when showers and thunderstorms could interrupt the string.
On Sunday in Denver skies should be mostly sunny and the high temperature should top out at 73 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The normal high temperature in Denver this time of year is in the mid-60s.
Monday and Tuesday weather in Denver will mirror Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and high temperature in the mid-70s, the weather service reports.
Overnight low temperatures in Denver should be in the mid- to upper 40s through Tuesday night.
On Tuesday night, the dry, warm pattern should be breiefly interrupted as a Pacific storm system moves through the region, bringing cooler weather and a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Denver has a 20 percent chance for wet weather Tuesday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers after 7 p.m., the weather service said.
On Wednesday in the city, skies should remain mostly cloudy, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms as the high temperature tops out at a more seasonal 64 degrees.
A chance of wet weather in Denver continues Wednesday night and the low temperature should dip to 42 degrees.
Sunny skies should return to the city Thursday, the weather service reports, and the high is expected to amp up to 69 degrees.
The following Friday and Saturday in Denver should be mostly sunny, with high temperatures back in the mid-70s
