Columnist George Will , calling the U.S. Senate candidate “cherubic and ebullient, … a human sunbeam whose unshakable cheerfulness is disconcertingly authentic as he exclaims to the waiter at breakfast,’Thank you for your work this morning!'”
Cherubic? A sunbeam?
Supporters of U.S. Sen. Mark Udall, the Democrat Gardner is trying to unseat, look at the congressman differently. They think he’s devious and dishonest because about the personhood-style bill he is sponsoring in the U.S. Senate.
My favorite description of Gardner yet: Big Boy, the baby-faced mascot for the Big Boy restaurant chain.
Whatever the description, it’s clear that Gardner’s has gotten under the skin of some Democrats.
