A Boulder company that allegedly inflated the price of electronic warfare antennas it sold to the Army has agreed to pay $10 million to settle the allegations, according to the U.S. Justice Department. The electronic warfare antennas were sold by First FR Corp. to the Army to combat improvised explosive devices.
The government alleged that First RF knowingly submitted false information to the Army that misrepresented First RF’s cost to manufacture the antenna. By doing so, the Department of Justice said, the company inflated the price and received higher payments.
The settlement ended the investigation, and there was no determination of liability.
