Keanu Reeves as John Wick in a scene from “John Wick.” (Provided by Lionsgate)
Re: “Keanu Reeves is back for satisfying revenge thriller ‘John Wick,'” Oct. 24 movie review.
Peter Debruge’s review of the new Keanu Reeves movie “John Wick” glorifies violence with comments like “a stunningly lethal contract killer who goes on a rampage,” “shooting, stabbing,” “brutally efficient.” Evidently our anti-hero even kills people in a church parking lot.
Do Post readers need this? How about a column that urges name-brand movie stars to stop making violent movies? How many more brutal killings do we need?
