Here we go again. Pollsters tell us that many races are too close to call. Indeed, it seems that close races are anything but rare. At the same time we are told that voter fraud is rare. But if you have just spent a few years and serious money organizing and running a campaign for an elected office, would it be OK with you if two or three “rare” fraudulent votes led to your defeat?
Not ensuring that every vote is legal greatly weakens the sacred right to vote.
