Someone has stolen a bust of John Denver from the FirstBank Center, and the venue is asking for the bust back — no questions asked.

The bronze sculpture of the late singer was stolen from arena during the Saints and Sinners Halloween Ball concert Tuesday night, according to Broomfield police. The concert was put together by radio station KBPI, 106.7-FM.

The sculpture is part of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and is owned by John Denver’s family, according to a FirstBank Center Facebook post. It was on display during the concert.

“We want (need) to get it back for them,” the post stated.

A concertgoer alerted police that the bust was no longer on its display, but police have no suspects at this time, said Broomfield police spokeswoman Joleen Reefe.

G. Brown, director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, said the bust has been a staple at the FirstBank Center since 2011. The concert venue was the original home of the organization.
