Smoke might be visible in the foothills southwest of Denver on Monday during a controlled burn, officials said.
Weather permitting, there will be a controlled burn from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Indian Hills Fire Protection District, said the Indian Hills Fire Rescue .
The department said smoke could be visible from Genesee, Evergreen, Lookout Mountain, Parker and the West Denver metro.
