Police in Broomfield on Wednesday arrested a second man in connection with the .

Wade Daniel Stonier, 30, faces charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal tampering in the case.

John Anthony Martinez, 42, of Longmont, on suspicion of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal tampering and theft, police said.

A “white, powdery substance” was found on a desk by an employee on the 2600 block of West Midway Boulevard late Thursday morning. The substance didn’t test positive as a biological or hazardous agent.

The substance prompted the evacuation of more than 100 people for several hours. Two employees who came into contact with the mystery substance were decontaminated as a precaution.

“Investigators determined that the white powdery substance was a common sugar substitute,” police said. “There are no additional suspects in this case.”
