Denver Nuggets forward Darrell Arthur has been suspended one game by the NBA for his cheap shot on Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters.
Waiters was shoved in the back by Arthur as he left the ground while going for a layup at the end of the first period of the over the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. Arthur was assessed a flagrant 2 foul and ejected.
Arthur will serve his one game suspension on Sunday when the Nuggets travel take on the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.
