A former Widefield High School teacher who struck male students’ genitals as “cup checks” was sentenced to at least eight years in prison on Monday.
Lee Edward Riddle, 30, received an indeterminate sentence from Judge Thomas Kennedy, meaning he could remain in prison for his whole life.
Riddle faced 18 charges of sex assault on a child in a position of trust and was convicted of five of them by a jury on Aug. 20.
