Getting your player ready...

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Unless the Avs meet the Islanders in the Stanley Cup Finals, this will be the final time they ever play at the Nassau Coliseum. Patrick Roy took a little time to reflect on his memories coming here as a player, which is in a story on the mothership site.

For the Avs, no changes to the lineup the one of late.

The lines:

O’Reilly-Duchene-McGinn

Landeskog-MacKinnon-Iginla

Tanguay-Mitchell-Everberg

McLeod-Cliche-Talbot

Danny Briere will be a healthy scratch again. Semyon Varlamov in goal, against Jaroslav Halak. The Isles are 9-5-0, so this is another tough game for the Avs. We’ll see if they play with more desperation or not.
