GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a man whose body was found in a pond in west Greeley.

The Weld County Coroner’s Office identified the man Monday as 59-year-old Benedict Knoll, a transient whose last known residence was in Ault.

The Greeley Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1En7mPl ) Knoll’s body was found in a pond in the Country Club West Open Space on Sunday afternoon. Coroner Mark Ward has ruled the death an accident due to a pre-existing medical condition.
