1 Chromebook stolen. On Nov. 3, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy talked to a teacher at Chaparral High School, 15655 Brookstone Drive, Parker, where one of the students allegedly had taken a Chromebook laptop computer without returning it. The laptops were not locked up.
2 Assorted theft. On Nov. 3, deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of East Bexley Lane in Highlands Ranch where a man had left the doors unlocked on his vehicles and items were stolen, including sunglasses, gift cards, weightlifting gloves and assorted tampons.
3 Vehicular mischief. On Nov. 1, a deputy took a report of vandalism in the 7500 block of Crystal Lake Court in Roxborough where someone had egged a man’s house, thrown grass clippings in his yard and poured beer in the back of his truck.
4 Stone cold. On Nov. 1, a deputy responded to the 10300 block of Deerfield Road in Franktown where someone had removed a leg to a stone bench and attempted to smash some CO2 cartridges, as well as a pumpkin with a rock.
5 Window mischief. On Nov. 5, a deputy was dispatched to the 8800 block of Greengrass Way in Parker where a woman kept finding her backyard gate open and finally found someone had removed a screen on the window, but not opened it.
6 False address. On Oct. 31, a deputy was dispatched to the 12700 block of North Pine Cone Road near Parker where a man had noticed a false address on his credit report. The man froze his bank accounts and was trying to remove the false address but needed a police report to do it.
