1 Missing chickens. A resident of Crestvue Circle, Golden, reported damage to his chicken coop and two missing chickens Oct. 25. The resident suspected a person, pointing to a footprint that wasn’t his, but police and neighbors — citing fresh scat nearby — suspected animals.

2 Door beats man. A Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy found a man bleeding on the curb outside of Little Bear, 28075 Colorado 74, Evergreen, on Nov. 1. He had a cut on top of his head and his left ear and his nose was bleeding. He said he ran into a door. The deputy asked if he ran into the door multiple times but the man just laughed and would say no more. There were no witnesses.

3 Missing pot. Golden Police went to Zodiac Street in Golden on Oct. 26 in response to a domestic violence report. A female resident said the argument was about the male resident not supporting their child. The male resident said the fight was about $600 worth of missing marijuana, which he believed her friends stole. Both said there was no physical violence during the argument. A report was filed for the missing marijuana.

4 Graffiti at the skate park there was. The skate park at Ulysses Park, 1205 Ulysses St., Golden, was vandalized sometime before Oct. 26. Graffiti on the walls of the half pipe included drawings of a dragon, Yoda, Asian symbols, a gas mask and a plane.

5 Car thefts. Two car thefts were reported in Golden on Oct. 27 and 28. Both were Hondas. One, missing from the 17000 block of W. 16th Ave., was found the same day in a Denver parking garage. The other was taken from the 300 block of Golden Circle.
