FRISCO, Colo. (AP) — A 65-year-old hiker who accidentally fell 20 feet while hiking Mount Royal in Frisco has died.

The Summit Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/1qGJY9j ) Michael Roberts suffered a severe brain injury when he fell Oct. 19. The Summit County Coroner’s Office says that after 18 days of intensive care at a Lakewood hospital, there had been no improvement in his neurological state.

Roberts was taken off life support and died Nov. 7. He had been hiking with another person when he fell.
