A person was killed in Denver when a car slammed into a tree in a residential neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to Denver police.
The name, age and gender of the victim have not been released.
The accident happened near the intersection of East 17th Avenue and Holly Street, according to a Denver police Tweet at about 2 a.m. Only one car was involved in the accident.
