We did not send Republicans to Congress to “reach across the aisle,” “extend a hand,” or “meet in the middle.” We sent them there because we do not agree with the liberal policies of Democrats and we want them disempowered. We want conservative government that protects our citizens and our borders, cuts spending drastically, and gets out of our lives.
Republicans tried being “moderate” in President George W. Bush’s first term. How did that work out? It sure didn’t play well here. We don’t want moderate. We want conservative. We want a return to the values of our founders and a government limited by strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution.
We’ll be watching. We voted you in, Republicans. We can vote your replacements in, too.
