Tolls will go up for motorists traveling E-470 next year.
Effective Jan. 1, 2015, toll rates at all tolling points will rise by five cents for ExpressToll customers and by five to 10 cents for those billed via License Plate Toll, say E-470 officials.
Express Toll customers whose vehicles are equipped with transponders will continue to pay about 20 percent less than those billed through License Plate Toll.
The Express Toll rate at Toll Plaza A, for two-axle vehicles, between Chambers Road and Peoria Street, will be $2.50; the ExpressToll rate will be $2.75 at the other four toll plazas. All ExpressToll ramp tolls will be $1.15.
The License Plate Toll rate at Toll Plaza A will be $3.15; the License Plate Toll rate will be $3.45 at the other four toll plazas. All License Plate Toll ramp tolls will be $1.45.
