That’s when the oddsmakers look around for a new favorite. According to the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, the Broncos have dropped this week from the prohibitive favorite to win the Super Bowl, to No. 3 behind New England and Green Bay.
The New England Patriots have the best odds to win it all at 7-2. The Pack is next at 4-1. Then it’s the Broncos at 9-2.
A bit surprisingly, Westgate is showing more confidence in the Carson Palmer-less Arizona Cardinals than most. The Cardinals with backup Drew Stanton as their quarterback have the fourth-best odds at 8-to-1.
Then it’s the Seahawks at 12-to-1, followed by the 49ers, Colts and Chiefs, each at 14-to-1. The Eagles and Cowboys are at 18-to-1.
