1 The neighbor’s car. Police were called to the 4700 block of East 109th Place, Thornton, because a drunken driver in a truck smashed into another truck while it was parked in the driveway Oct. 29. The suspect lived down the street, and tried to hide in his house. Officers walked over and arrested him.

2 Bathroom exile. Patrolling officers noticed a drunken man urinating in the parking lot of the Platinum 84, 8485 Umatilla St., Federal Heights. The suspect said he couldn’t use the bathroom inside the club because of complicated circumstances. He was ticketed Oct. 14.

3 Peppered Chihuahua. Police ticketed a man who lives in the 6400 block of Grape Street, Commerce City, because his dog escaped the yard and charged at the mailman. The mailman thought he was going to get bit, so he pepper sprayed the Chihuahua Oct. 24.

4 The golden BBQ. A woman woke up Oct. 15 and noticed that someone used glittery gold spray paint to tag the phrase “BBQ” next to the front door of her condo in the 1400 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights. There are no suspects.

5 Wandering in the road. A homeless man was cited for asking for money on a median in the 10300 block of Grant Street, Thornton, Oct. 31. The man was apparently walking into traffic to get change right in front of a police officer.

6 Incessant alarm. Police were called to the 10300 block of Zuni Street, Federal Heights, because a man’s car alarm had been going off all night Oct. 18. Officers noticed that someone tried to break the driver’s side door. There are no suspects.
