A woman accused in a drunken Sunday night hit-and-run that left one person injured has been charged, the district attorney’s office said Wednesday.
Nyeesha Gonzalez, 37, faces charges of vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury, aggravated driving after revocation, resisting arrest and no proof of insurance.
Police say Gonzalez caused the crash near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Quebec Street.Gonzalez, who remains jailed in lieu of $2,000 bond, is accused of leaving the scene after the accident and resisting arrest after she was located.
Gonzalez is next due in court Friday morning for a hearing.
