Denver troubadour has been wearing many different hats lately, gallivanting around with the Night Sweats and occasionally doing the proper solo show. All of that is about to change.
2015 is poised to be the year of . Jan. 27, 2015 sees the release of his EP, “Closer,” via Mod Y Vi Records, in which the former Born in the Flood front man reveals more of his soul (if that was even possible). Listen to the title track, “Closer,” in which the level of intimacy stays true to the title.
The Night Sweats, Rateliff’s horn- and rhythm-driven soul band, is set to record with Richard Swift (the Black Keys, the Shins, Foxygen) later in 2015. Also look for the Missouri-born Rateliff to hit the road with Colorado’s critically acclaimed singer-songwriter .
