Police in Northglenn say they fired shots at and then arrested a man outside a bowling alley on Wednesday night after he rammed an officer’s vehicle with a stolen U-Haul van.
Joseph Huff, 54, who was wanted on two warrants, was located about 3 p.m. at the AMF Northglenn Lanes on West 104th Avenue. When officers approached the van he was in, Huff allegedly tried to flee. Officers fired shots at Huff, at which point he stopped ramming a police vehicle.
“After a short struggle during which officers tased Huff, he was taken into custody,” police said. “Neither officers nor Huff were injured during the incident.”
