A multi-vehicle crash closed Eastbound I-70 at Glenwood Springs Sunday night for almost three hours, officials said.

Colorado State Patrol responded to a possible eight-vehicle crash that happened around 6:41 p.m. at mile marker 121, said Heather Cobler, spokeswoman for Colorado State Patrol. The highway reopened shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Cobler said a semi-truck and RV are believed to be involved in the crash, but she could not confirm.

Injuries are unknown at this point, Cobler said.

She said CSP is working to identify injuries and re-open the road which will remain closed until the crash can be moved.
