AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Air Force coach Troy Calhoun was indefinite Tuesday about the playing status of senior quarterback Kale Pearson as he looked ahead to Friday’s regular-season finale against Colorado State at his weekly press conference.
Pearson was shaken by a jarring tackle near the end of . He was replaced by sophomore Nate Romine for the final few minutes of the game.
Calhoun didn’t comment when asked if Pearson was experiencing concussion symptoms.
“We’ll know more after today,” Calhoun said.
Pearson has directed the Falcons to an 8-3 record overall and 4-3 in the Mountain West.
In 11 games, Pearson has completed 96-of-162 pass attempts for 1,513 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also has rushed for 646 yards and six touchdowns.
