COLORADO SPRINGS —Two protests were organized Tuesday in response to a grand jury decision that police officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted in the death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.
Colorado College students blocked Cascade Avenue at noon at the crosswalk between Cutler Hall and Shove Memorial Chapel after class in a march organized in part by the Black Student Union of Colorado College.
A separate protest march, against the grand jury decision, is scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. at 27 E. Vermijo Ave.
