1 Gone guy. A man broke up with his girlfriend by stealing a bunch of her stuff and skipping town Nov. 5. The victim said her ex took several electronics and coins from their home in the 14700 block of East Asbury Avenue and then blocked her number. She suspects he pawned the items and left the city.

2 Declined. A cab driver called police to the intersection of East Sixth Avenue and North Hanover Street because one of his fares refused to pay the bill Nov. 8. Police found the suspect a block away and asked him to pay the driver. He tried three credit cards, which were all declined. He was arrested and taken to detox.

3 Make amends. Two women walked into the Circle K at 22998 E. Smoky Hill Road and stole two quarts of motor oil from the shelves. Police went to their home based on license plate information and said the clerk only wanted them to pay for the oil. They drove back to the store Nov. 6 and paid.

4 Missing tools. A man called police to his home in the 900 block of South Peoria Street because someone stole a $3,500 paint sprayer from his truck Nov. 2. The victim suspected an ex employee but couldn’t prove that.

5 Stolen stereo. A woman called police after someone stole her car stereo Nov. 8. The thieves broke the passenger side door while the car was parked in the 17700 block of East Arizona Place.

6 Swiped wallet. Police were called to the Subway at 19330 E. Quincy Drive because an employee’s wallet was stolen from the back of the store Nov. 5. The victim said she left the wallet outside in her bag to help a customer. There are no suspects.
